What Is Ultrasonic Cavitation?

Ultrasonic cavitation is a non-invasive body contouring treatment that uses low-frequency ultrasound waves (typically around 40KHz) to target and break down stubborn fat cells. These fat cells are then naturally eliminated by the lymphatic system, helping users achieve a slimmer and more toned appearance.

Why Do You Hear a Noise During Cavitation Treatment?

Many first-time users of ultrasonic cavitation devices report hearing a high-pitched or ringing noise during the session—especially around the ears and head area.

This sound is completely normal and is caused by bone conduction. The ultrasonic waves used during the treatment travel through your soft tissue and reflect off the bone structures, especially near your head. As a result, the sound is amplified and perceived internally.

Tip: To reduce the discomfort, avoid using the device too close to your head or neck, and consider using protective earplugs during the session.

The Principle of Cavitation

Ultrasonic waves pass through the epidermis at a frequency of 40 kHz, acting on the fat cells of the dermis, and high-frequency vibrations cause the fat cells to break, we called it cavitation. The tinnitus we hear comes from the micro-vibration of fat cells. This phenomenon will always be accompanied by cavitation weight loss treatment. If it disappears, it is no longer 40kHz.
